5/22/24, 3:03 AM - Terrific review. Cheers JENSAGO!
5/20/24, 2:06 PM - This is a weird one. Very unusual for Myriad.
5/20/24, 8:04 AM - I’ve got one of these. I’ll need to give it a whirl soon.
5/19/24, 2:35 PM - Great minds…
5/20/24, 3:27 AM - There are likely ‘21s available still…
5/19/24, 1:57 PM - I visited their new tasting room in downtown Napa a few months ago and bought a few different bottles.
5/19/24, 5:59 AM - Mark - I may have gotten two bottles in the secondary market, so perhaps there was storage issues?
5/19/24, 6:01 AM - Sdr69 - I assumed I need to wait on the ‘18s. I’ll try a 2-3 hour decant a year from now (on the first bottle I try).
5/19/24, 6:06 AM - Cheers my friend!
9/7/23, 4:48 AM - I’ve got a few of these. I’ll need to try one soon. Supposedly ‘18 is even better, but I’ve not had one.
5/17/24, 1:32 PM - I’m having one tonight.
5/17/24, 5:28 AM - Sweet 16. I surprisingly have a couple of these. 50 might be a good thing to celebrate. ;)
5/15/24, 8:15 PM - What I’m hearing is 4-5 hour decant. No one is going to use a re-pour stopper (unless you bring it to their home). ;)
5/16/24, 1:15 AM - I’m just giving you a hard time (and wanted to make sure you got the Repour commission check).
5/15/24, 12:04 PM - It was a great atmosphere as well, so maybe there’s a bonus point built in.
5/15/24, 9:42 AM - This is my new home. ;)
5/11/24, 9:55 PM - Good man!
5/9/24, 9:39 AM - Totally agree. Haven’t tried the ‘21 yet, but I buy 6 - 12 bottles in each vintage. Cheers my friend!
5/6/24, 2:20 PM - This one needs an hour decant to really shine. Cheers my friend!
5/5/24, 7:58 PM - I dumped it. I don’t think it was going to improve.
5/5/24, 6:28 AM - This is their afterthought bottling, so variation is not surprising. I enjoyed the wine, but I’m waning on the Bevan style these days.
5/5/24, 6:50 AM - Indeed. We have good palates. ;)
5/4/24, 11:48 AM - I met Pam two years ago at the winery. It was a nice visit and I bought a few bottles. These are good, but not great for me. ‘16 is my first vintage to try (of RLC).
5/4/24, 7:55 AM - Based on this review, I’ll do the same decant tonight. Forgot about these.
5/4/24, 6:32 AM - This is the Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru of the USA.
5/4/24, 5:40 AM - It’s looking like ‘21 will be as good as ‘16 as an overall vintage. I’m looking forward to trying more of these ‘21 VV’s in another year or two. Hopefully there won’t be a shut down phase. Cheers MN!
5/4/24, 5:28 AM - Looking forward to trying this. Cheers GN!
5/4/24, 5:26 AM - I’ve used that same sentence several times (and I know you’re testing me). I’ll never be someone seeking out 20+ year old bottles, but I can certainly appreciate a good Cabernet 10 years past vintage. Seven or eight years past vintage is typically the peak for me.
5/2/24, 7:22 AM - Yes, patience will be rewarded. This will peak in two years or so for my palate.
5/1/24, 8:03 PM - Totally agree. Cheers Sid!
4/30/24, 5:02 AM - I had this at their tasting room and was shocked how good it was. Great review.
4/30/24, 7:34 AM - Yes, I hope to taste with you one day. Send me your contact info offline (jgrunlan@gmail.com).
4/29/24, 8:08 PM - That ‘19 will be even better.
4/30/24, 7:34 AM - One day…
4/30/24, 5:01 AM - Terrific notes. I’m looking forward to my next bottle.
4/27/24, 8:49 AM - This was OK, just not something I’d buy for the cellar.
4/25/24, 6:31 PM - I had this at a fun bistro in NYC just before Christmas. Bought a few for the cellar when I got home. Cheers my friend!
4/25/24, 5:01 AM - ‘16 Black Label is good with very little air. ‘18 and ‘19 Leopoldina are fun with several hour decant. Amoenus in all vintages is usually my favorite of the SVs.
4/22/24, 1:08 AM - Great preview. I picked up two of these based on your recommendation a few months back.
4/20/24, 11:16 AM - These are now $350/bottle. Josh Peeples gave up his ownership stake. Whoever is now in charge increased pricing mid-vintage. I’m probably done with these guys now. Had a fun tasting, but they’ve priced themselves out for me.
4/20/24, 11:50 AM - Yes. We’ll need a plan of attack for Friday as well. Are all the wines now listed? I haven’t looked at the site.
4/20/24, 11:17 AM - Looks like you had a nice wine night. Cheers to that!
4/20/24, 11:27 AM - We’ll have a good time.
4/19/24, 9:27 AM - I’m looking forward to re-visiting this in the not too distant future.
4/19/24, 8:05 AM - Keplinger’s VHR CS was great, along with Arkenstone’s Godward CS.
4/18/24, 3:19 PM - You need to obey Aubert’s instructions. Two hour double decant.
4/17/24, 4:57 AM - Give it a two hour decant. It’s possible I was influenced by the good time I was having. ;)
4/18/24, 11:49 AM - Agreed. It’s my longest running club.
4/17/24, 7:17 PM - Awesome tasting (and notes). Cheers my friend!
4/16/24, 8:00 PM - Definitely my style. We’ll see what I think in the comfort of my own home next year…
4/15/24, 3:57 AM - Anytime.
4/15/24, 11:14 AM - It was the perfect start to the trip.
4/15/24, 2:35 PM - I’m in. We can talk more seriously about that in a couple of months.
4/15/24, 3:55 AM - The Hunnicutt facility makes twelve different boutique labels (Boich, Promise, etc.). The innuendo is below $100. All are below $200.
4/15/24, 2:34 PM - Yes, the lower priced bottles were better IMHO.
4/13/24, 11:52 AM - He was fun. Very down to earth.
4/15/24, 3:56 AM - A couple of hours would have helped.
4/15/24, 1:34 PM - I loaded up on the ‘21 NV (and all the ‘21 single vineyards). I suspect the ‘22 will also be good, but a noticeable step down from ‘21. I bought only a 3-pack for that reason.
4/15/24, 12:29 PM - I appreciate the preview. My bottles just arrived. I’ll open one in a few months.
4/14/24, 6:07 PM - I have a new appreciation for Keplinger.
4/14/24, 6:20 PM - Sounds reduced… I like meaty notes more than flinty.
4/15/24, 8:55 AM - With all of that said, Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is still king for me. ;)
4/15/24, 7:00 AM - I can vouch for the ‘21 MacDonald. It’s terrific.
4/14/24, 5:00 PM - Yes, I tried the ‘21. I’ll be posting soon.
4/15/24, 6:59 AM - Sorry I missed you. I’d give this an hour or two decant if you can.
4/15/24, 3:58 AM - Cheers Lite!
4/11/24, 10:02 PM - What??? I hope that’s not true. First it’s Drinkward Peschon, then Jones.
4/15/24, 3:58 AM - That is sad.
4/13/24, 6:54 AM - JLV was my favorite. Rosedale and Pickett were a slight step back. Pickett was more interesting to me than in years past.
4/15/24, 3:57 AM - It’s never been better.
4/15/24, 3:53 AM - I had a ‘16 and it wasn’t as good.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
