April 21, 2024 - Decayed 90 minutes and drank with Pasta All’Amatriciana. Similar to previous notes but more rounded now. Still modern but very smooth and enjoyable. Red fruits dominate is a long finish.

Taste is leather cherry tobacco with a solid wall of tannins..leads to a tannic cherry finish that is quite drying.. good structured wine .. definitely a food wine
Very solid brunello and good QPR..

January 13, 2024 - I had sampled this a couple of years ago via Coravin with no formal notes taken. Tonight my dear wife made an impromptu sausage and tortellini dinner in the pressure cooker and it just begged for an Italian wine.
I Coravined a couple more glasses using my aeration technique of holding the stream 18-24” from the glass. It worked as the wine was smooth and open for business! Cherries and forest mushroom notes with enough acidity to cut through the sausage and sauce dinner. We then popped the cork to finish the bottle. Lisini has been a go-to Brunello for years and this was fantastic as usual.1 person found this helpful Comment
