Friday, November 24, 2023 - I have to agree with Optimus Wine's note of 05/31/2021. We are big fans of Darioush Merlot and purchased a case of this vintage. We have consumed eight bottles and all have been earthy and rustic. Not typical of previous vintages that have been rich, pleasant to the palate with well balanced tannins on the finish. We always decant at least an hour and consume over the next two or three. Anyone else with a similar experience with the 2018 vintage? Disappointed.
