Tuesday, April 23, 2024 - I didn’t believe it till I tasted it. Blinded you would think Le Montrachet. Green golden straw colored. Perfect coloring. Medium to full bodied and RICH. Stone fruits, oily white flowers and rocky minerality on the nose. Acacia, sweet white peach and flint on the palate. OMG this wine is soooo good. The only limiting factor for 97-98 for me was a little bit acidic and thin on the finish. But that’s just me. Smarter people than me ranked this 98+ and i totally get it. Highly recommended. What a treat. Cheers

5/3/2024 12:28:00 PM - Thanks for the comments that I wholly agree with. I've been buying this since the 1999 vintage, and they've been very consistent throughout the years. Another good thing is their use of screwcaps since 2005. As a result, there's no more worry about premox or cork taint.
I noticed that you live in St. Louis. I lived in St. Louis from 1981 until 1995 while I worked for Monsanto - now retired in Henderson, NV. Cheers!
