Thursday, April 25, 2024 - Have heard about this wine for years. Touted as the best domestic US Chardonnay people have ever had. An absolute treat, this lives up to the talk, even with several years of age on it now. A beautiful, French-styled white that is so effortlessly balanced, while remaining quite bold at the same time. I would be glad to have more of these in my cellar.

4/25/2024 7:18:00 AM - Always good to see your name show up, and I’d have missed it shortly since I drank my last of these last week (my score: 99-100), bringing it up to Napa on a dream wine tasting trip (Harlan, Bond, VHR, Bella Oaks, Abreu and VV) with MN Wine Junky and Wine Burrowing Wombat (I also brought the ‘08 Ovid; I’m going to crack an Ovid for you next time we’re together). This is amazing stuff. I also have a couple of Luc’s cabs, which are impressive, too. Hope you guys are well, all is on track . . .

I know that we typically wax on about the complexity of flavors in Napa reds, but I am in awe that a single varietal can simultaneously express citrus fruits, a spectrum of tropical fruits, and textured minerality - all in a single mouthful
