Sunday, April 28, 2024 - Decanted and drank over two days. Medium to heavy body, minimal bricking at the rim. Fruit, tar and cigar on the nose, similar on the palate along with a good dose of anise, particularly on day-1. Integrated tannin and medium acidity but plenty of backbone to drive the highly pleasing and nuanced Pauillac finish. Seemed best on day-1 after 3-4 hours of air, still good on day-2, but less nuanced. I agree with others on this - in a wonderful spot now but no hurry.
