Wednesday, May 1, 2024 - Very old world on the nose. Sous bois and earthy but vibrant cherry fruit aromas. Reminded me of D’angerville style, but more morey st denis…yet the wine is from the new SLO coast appellation in central coast California!! Cool climate gives a crunchiness to the cherry and strawberry fruit. Nice finish and easy to drink. A little more cerebral than fruit forward but delicious nonetheless. Final blend by Raj Parr, and he usually knows what he is doing. Well recommended and great QPR
