Friday, May 10, 2024 - PNP. Very deep dark magenta color. Cinnamon, chocolate, marshmallow, caramel, melon, black cherry, cashew, and dark raspberry. Smooth, dry palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This is one of the better Napa CS that drinks really well with little to no aeration. There’s a richness that belies its straightforward, fruit forward nature. It’s absolutely confectionery, but not out of control. It makes me feel a little cheap, but only slightly. ;)
