Saturday, May 11, 2024 - I know this is not the top cuvee but I found it disappointing. This is elegant but lacks fruit concentration and is quite dry on the finish. There are pure, quite polished expressions of cassis and blackcurrant here, with some vanilla behind. Medium bodied, this has a moderate structure. Short finish and straightforward. Will be better in 5 years but lacks charm which I don't think will develop.
