Wednesday, February 23, 2022 - Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Medium translucent garnet. Nose is quite floral and sour cherry dominated. Good structure of both acidity and tannin here, age-worthy and less soft than many of the 2015’s which seem to be more ripe and lower in acidity. On the palate slightly tart cherry and a long finish. Attractive wine with upside potential.
