Decanted and drank over two days. Compote, vanilla and cloves on the nose, although not intense. Medium intensity black fruit, vanilla, low tannin and medium high acidity on a palate. Minimal secondary, not nuanced. Although enjoyable, not remarkable. A decent bottle of wine made in a tough year. Below average QPR at today's prices, IMHO. Drink up.

An easy afternoon with close friends. (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet with red and dark berries, vanilla and beautiful oak. On the palate red and dark berries, cherries, some herbs and bell pepper, some earthy impressions, juicy acidity and slightly drying tannin. Good length. Refined wine in its young maturity stage.

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Bordeaux right bank (@ RW): The bouquet shows creamy red berries and pleasant oak, but is still a bit locked. On the palate red berries, firm acidity, vanilla, slightly sticky tannin. The oak is not fully integrated yet, but it is a beautiful wine which will probably be at its peak around 2025+

MW Institute 2011 Bordeaux Tasting: Cherry, raspberry, mint and ash aromas. Palate is really well balanced and approachable, there is good carry and length. Some depth and layers to the fruit. Has structure and will show well for some time to come.

Fresh brewed espresso, black raspberry, licorice and dark chocoalte aromas pair with the wines round, lush, open character, finishing with sweet, cherries and cocoa.
