From a magnum. An intense, brooding blend of Grenache and Syrah, seemingly at peak, with the dark fruit notes commingling with salinity and minerality. While I was impressed by this bottle, it did lack the energy and power of the Truffiers bottlings.

Tasted during a WA event „a matter of taste” – Languedoc Roussillon master class, presented by the wine makers. This Syrah-Grenache blend comes from a vineyard with a mere 10hl/ha yield. 40 day maceration apparently. Dark purple, very intriguing and complex nose of dark fruit, nutty, bakery and salinity as well as mushroom. Very intense on the palate, highly concentrated but fresh and complex.
