l love Oakanagan wines, and we so rarely get them in Ontario I jump at the chance anytime I get them. This one is dark in color with a bold rich aromatic nose that leaps up at you as you pour. Lots of black berry notes. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely black cherry notes along with some dark chocolate and some coffee. Hold it in your mouth for a bit to appreciate it cause here comes the finish … The wine displays some firm tannins, some nice dryness and acidity. This is a lovely big bold cab, typical of Okanagan. This wine is young and I would say has a good deal of life left in it. If you like your wines softer age or decant this. I paired it with lamb and it held it’s own well. I would give this wine a solid 90. Yumm.
