In a fantastic place right now. The blackberry, dark cherry and floral notes explode from the glass and are augmented with stoney minerality when tasted. Drink now or in the next few years

Purple in color. 15.7% ABV. 45% Grenache, 29% Mourvedre, 18% Syrah and 8% Counoise. Sublime nose of red and blue fruits, Whitman Sampler Box, molten licorice and fresh flowers. Full bodied with mouth watering acidity and notable balance. Exceptionally rich and plush. Blueberry, raspberry liqueur, kirsch and creme de cassis on the palate. The finish is long and silky. This wine continues to get better with time in the bottle. Best over the next several years.

I decanted for a couple hours and enjoyed over the night. Read @Rougeamour notes. Pretty spot on. My bottle as well had a lot of sediment in it as some of the the other CT bloggers noted, so take caution while pouring/decanting. This vintage is drinking perfectly right now. Enjoy.

Decanted for 2 hours and drank over the next 2. This blend of 45% Grenache, 29%% Mourvedre and 18% Syrah and 8% Counoise had a lot of sediment in the bottle and gave off a wonderful deep nose of dark berries and herbs. On the palate, there are notes of extracted blackberries, cassis, dark raspberry and licorice. This full bodied wine is drinking smoothly with its fine tannins. Always one of my favorites.
