Pulled and poured after 30 minutes at a Mendocino restaurant. Typical of V-E wines, the 2010 Alexander is well-balanced. Nose connotes sense of blueberries and cherries. Fruit is present but far from overwhelming. Certainly enjoyable now and has legs to last. Just love this winery!

Just coming to age with 3 hour decant. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry, black currant (cassis), cherry, oak, vanilla, cinnamon, violet and chocolate. It tastes like blueberry, cherry, oak, vanilla, cinnamon and violet. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
