Medium light red with brown edges. Warm funky, wet forest and red cherry nose. A bit herbal as well. The funk is quite elegant and not in the merde realm, yet. Dry earthy spicy red cherry flavours and a nice resolved finish.
Could hold but may not improve.

Drew's bottle. Has the reddish brown color and old wet dog nose of old Burgundy. Would have guessed it to be a bit older based on those, but it was a fine drink nonetheless with nutmeg, raspberry and stewed tomato.

At last a correct bottle and a lovely one at that. Quite deep cherry red with some bricking. The nose is alluring with dark cherries, clove, wild strawberry, Cote de Nuits soil and forest. The palate is medium weight with very juicy cherry fruit and a fine earthy finish that just lacks the drive for great but that still finishes a delicious wine with some style.

Beautiful nose showing lots of depth, some cinnamon, clove and red berry. Fairly dark colored and extracted for a 2000 vintage, with a deep flavorful palate and good acidity. Dinged for a shortish finish, but overall this is a strong wine still on its upward trajectory. I could drink this all day long.
