Day 2: These are so good will probably go through the case in 24. Mild funk, gravel, tobacco, dried cherries, plum, dust, earth and blueberries. Medium plus finish and Right Bank Clone as mentioned before. 93 points

Day 1: Another stellar bottle. See other 3 notes but will right one anyway. Menthol, dark fruits, chocolate, spice and mild oak. Nice concentration and medium plus finish. 93 points Day 3: Another great day 3 bottle with menthol, mild funk, plum, blueberries, dark chocolate and spices. A touch of oak on the finish. Super complex wine and one would be fooled into thinking this is a $200 Napa Wine blind. 94 points Recommendation: Buy for under $50 if you can find it via auction.

Day 1: This is the best $25 other than result of a crush. Bought via auction and could have had two cases instead of one. Funk, gravel, plum, tobacco, menthol, cherry and earth. Right banker in disguise. 94 points Day 2: Holding form nicely. This is the best bottle of the case so far and gives great promise this wine will drink well through 2030. Menthol, funk, tobacco, sour cherry, stone, earth and smoke. Big style wine but so good. 94 points Day 3: Over 10 years old and holding form. Wow purchase from my friends at Chicago Wine Company. Win for sure. Recommendation: Should have bought all 3 cases instead of one.

Tom & Bruna's Wine Tasting (Edina, MN): So the hosts liked this better than us other 3 but I like both for different reasons. This is a bigger style but some modern Bordeaux character. Tobacco, oak, funk, cherry, blue fruits, spice and earth. Long finish and concentrated. Again outstanding.

Day 1: Thank you cellar tracker as I would have not made this amazing purchase via auction without some data. This is an amazing wine and paid less than $25 a bottle. Mild oak, funk, blueberries, menthol, coffee beans, dark cherry and dust. Super complex wine and amazing what a great Merlot experience can be like from Napa. As good as almost every Cab at a recent $60 plus event. 93+ points Day 2: Wow! This tastes like a $200 Cabernet not a $50 Merlot which it is about the retail. Oak, dark cherries, spices, coffee beans, menthol, dust, tobacco and earth. Super concentrated effort and off the charts on the value. 94 points Day 3: Still has some nice characteristics but pales in comparison of day 1/2. 89 points Recommendation: This will drink well through 2028 for sure.
