Medium yellow-gold color. Aromas of lemon, peach, a bit of honeysuckle, and a little butterscotch. The palate has acidity that is almost lemony to carry a peach, yellow-apple fruit character that is kept from seeming unstructured by the acid. A really delicious Bourgogne Blanc that was well worth the purchase price and patience.

Chevillon study (Chicago, IL): Solid chardonnay; not particularly exciting, and without a lot of the brightness I like in white Burgundy. If I'm totally honest, this seemed to be starting to develop a bit of a bruised apple/peachy quality too.

Sound wine, it's firm acidity morphs to a Sancerre in its grassy notes.
