Day 1: Natural corks suck. Cork crumbles. This wine is tired and offers much less than a year ago. Menthol, soft fruits and earth. A former shade of itself. 82 points Day 2: Not drinkable. Recommendation: Bought these at $40 and would say the first 5 were good and this one is tired and past peak. A solid purchase but you are crazy paying full boat on these at $100 plus.

This bottle received a proper decanting. The wine was very enjoyable showing quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot fruit. Although CellerTracker indicates this vintage is near the end of its life, this bottle had mature but vibrant fruit and seems to have years left if one desires to hold longer.

Natural cork. 13.6% alcohol. Day 1: Not doing much so save 3/4 of the bottle for day 2. Day 2: Hello and much better. These have plenty of life left. Elegant wine with cigar, blueberries, earth, minerals, mild spices, wood and dried floral petals. Medium finish and balanced. In a perfect drinking window. 93 points Day 3: Again rewarded from day 1. Earth, spice, cigar, minerals, red currants, dust and floral notes. Complex effort and rewarded for the extra patience. 94 points Recommendation: These were a steal at $40 a bottle and you will not find them at that price but for $80 buy as it is better than most Napa wines at that price.

Day 1: Amazing wine and needed about 15 minutes in the glass to open up. Similar to the last experience which was amazing. Cassis, blueberries, menthol, spices, dust, dried flowers and perfume. This is an elegant wine that is in a perfect drinking window right now and glad I have 2 more bottles. 94 points Day 2: This is a little less intense but very balanced wine. Minerals, cassis, blueberries, menthol, cigar, dust, earth and floral. Very Bordeaux like. Should age a few more years. 93 points Recommendation: Drink now or hold for a few years. Drink by 2026.

Day 1: Always found it funny that some think shipping wine needs time to settle. Never found that true and this wine is no exception. Mocco, dark cherry, plum, exotic spices, minerals, red meat and minerality streak on the finish. Might be the best Bordeaux Blend of the year for me at any price point. 94+ points Day 2: While not as good as day 1 still solid. Sour cherry, blueberries, plum, exotic spices, baked chocolate, menthol, crushed rock and minerals. If this wine was just this good I would be excited but my advice is pop and pour this one and consume over the next few years. 92 points Recommendation: Drink this now until 2025. No need to wait as these are great now.
