Full disclosure, I work for the brand. Revisiting past vintages since I started. As of today, the aromas have an interesting interplay of light and dark. Brigh red fruits are balanced by a darker, dusty note. Red and black currant, drying lavender, violet, plum and an iron/graphite note with a savory, umami edge. Dense and dark on the palate, it leads with cassis and plum, lifted on the mid-palate by red currant and pomegranate notes. Fine-grained tannins are somewhat reminiscent of "Rutherford dust" adding a nice minerality to the fruit. Elegant and finessed, it has plenty of power and structure to continue a nice ascent for a decade or more. I am finding these wines really show their beauty after about 5 years.

Popped and poured for quarantine happy hour. Very rich and robust Cab, with cassis, black cherry, fig and mocha flavors, wrapped in velvety tannins. Slightly sweet on the finish, and absolutely delicious! This is why I love well-made Napa Cabs. Drink now - 2028+.

Candies nose of red cherry and raspberry, labors of the same very fruit forward and easy drinking, mild tannins, mild acidity, long finish, drinking nice now, drank over 4 hours with no noticeable changes.

Pop & pour. Needs more time. This was a solid cab, but pretty locked up. We killed the bottle before it really showed us what it had under the hood. Decant if drinking near-term. Otherwise drink 2020-2030.
