Impressed with this. Honeyed and floral nose; honeyed and rich on the attack but overall clean with good minerality, and lovely but gentle acidity. Have had the Pet Nat as well and enjoyed. California winery to watch

tldr: high QPR wine; well above average in all respects. great choice to open for any occasion; can enjoy on its own or pair with food - we had it with sushi. enjoyed it more chilled than when it warmed up slightly. Color: pale gold, thin Nose: fragrant and fresh; trop fruit, lemon spritz, minerality, slight alcohol heat Body: light, but still enough weight on the tongue Acid: high acid, proportionate. Alcohol: 11.48% Palate: nice balance and structure; trop fruit, citrus/tart, driving minerality and acid carry the wine; not overly complex, but nice/round and expressive.

Every vintage is better than the last. This is my favorite Chenin Blanc from this winemaker thus far. Bright and fresh, lemon curd, lanolin, minerally.

Stone dry and salty, and a little bit of butterscotch at the end. Stood up well to spicy orecchiette. Good QPR.

-- brief note from memory --
This was cracked and poured. Quite light -- not a whole lot going on aromatically or on the palate. I wasn't impressed.
