Store SmageDag (Wine in Vein): Loved this wine! Intense, clean, etheric, and still packing a lot of flavour. Will likely keep developing for another ten years.

Aromas of licorice, raspberries, blueberries and plum introduce an all red and blue fruits mouthfeel, which is concentrated, pure silk and maintaining a great balance between richness and elegance, there is outstanding sap in the mid palate and depth of flavors, ending in a long, minerally inflected and salty finish that coats the mouth and sneaked back on my buds. This beauty, which has enough hedonistic sap to provide pleasure now, is textbook Vosne Beaux Monts and it will be a great Vosne 1er in 10 years.

Domaine Visit-Bruno Clavelier's 2018 Vintage (Vosne-Romanée, France): Barrel sample. Purple center. A very different aroma than the ripe fruit of most of these wines-floral and minty, suggesting a cooler vintage. Slightly bigger than the Brulées. Blacker fruit plus some blueberry. More tannic structure with late arriving soil. This is fabulous, truly Grand Cru quality, but I wouldn't touch it for at least 6 or 8 years.
