  Appearance - Dark garnet in color, clear at edge, reflective, good body/legs - 3/3
  Aroma/Bouquet - Notes of blackberries, black raspberries, plum, light minerality, vanilla/oak, light heat/alcohol - 5/6
  Taste/Texture - Black fruit (plum, raspberry), light tannins, little chewy, vanilla/oak, light alcohol - 5/6
  Aftertaste - Long fruit finish, tannins fade nicely - 3/3
  Overall - Good couples wine with balanced fruit, tannins, alcohol. - 2/2

  Appearance - Dark garnet color, reflective, clear at edge, good body/legs - 3/3
  Aroma/Bouquet - Blueberry, blackberry, black plum, oak/vanilla, light heat/alcohol, some mineral notes - 5/5
  Taste - Black and blue fruit, light tannins, light alcohol, oaky/vanilla, some spice, some mineral/earthy components - 5.5/6
  Aftertaste - Long finish, black fruit continues, tannins fade very nice - 3/3
  Overall - This is a good complex fruit/oak/tannin component wine - 2/2

  Big, dark, bold. All too much so for us. Monolithic, and showing some alcoholic heat. Same results after two nights — then into a sauce it jumped.

  Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot. Dark purple color. Elegant aromas of red and dark berries, cassis, baking spices, dried herbs and bramble. Pallet is full of black berry/currant, pencil shavings, black licorice, dried herbs, black tea, and leather. Touch of earthiness on the very long finish. Medium plus body. Soft texture and very savory. Outstanding quality at this price point. More please!
