Deserving of all the accolades. Super perfumed nose with bright red raspberry and floral elements. Touch of well measured oak on the palate and terrific balance and intensity without excess weight.

Gary and Danielle visit New Hope (Chez Walker + Italian Cucina, New Hope PA): Visit from our friends inspired me to open this one. First of this designate from this vintage, I have had the 17 (which was outstanding), intrigued by 100 pt score from WA. First red of of the night. Decanted for about 90 minutes prior to drinking
Medium ruby color. Nose was showing blackberry, red fruit, iodine and damp earth. Palate showing dark red fruits, raspberry, herbs/garrigue and black tea.. Picked up some orange zest in the mid palate. Medium weight, medium/long finish.
An outstanding Pinot, early in its evolution. Based on tis tasting, my best guess is this wine has 10+ years in it from here. Outstanding, worth drinking some now if one has more than a single bottle...will look forward to seeing how this ages

Really profound pinot. The complexities of the earthy mineral mid pallette are what drive this wine. Imo. Love the focused fruit with acid tension Excellent nose and seriously lingering finish also. Wow.
