  A friend brought this as a dinner gift and was put to the side for a later time not knowing what to expect. Opened it on a weekday evening to have with a simple steak. Surprisingly enjoyable, with firm tannins, and bit of complexity with vanilla, cassis oak and red fruits. An approachable Cab, which opened up during the meal.

  This is drinking beautifully. Gorgeous fruit, mostly black, that shows a bit of elegance. Everything is very well integrated and balanced. This is just a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon, full stop.

  hmmm.... I get a mildly aromatic nose with some light cherry, maybe also blueberry. In mouth the wine starts with un-ripened blackberry some plum and then I get tomato leaf, and a distinct vegetable mid palette. Finish is quite flat with lacking acidity but definitely present tannin. Seems a little unbalanced and not my style of choice for Cabernet. I suspect this might improve with a little bottle age as the wine improved after 2 hours.
