Aromas of cooked apples. Rich and ripe and round with tropical grapefruit bitterness to provide balance. No natural wine CO2. Oily texture. This is top tier Chardonnay!! Delicious now and probably for a couple more years. Carries the 14% very well.

Great stuff. Less reductive than typical for Labet, which allows the powdery minerality to really come through here. Lighter in style with a delicate touch and balanced acidity, with just a hint of jurassic funk. Very approachable and delicious now.

Very young of course, so we decided to decant. A clean and less intense style when compared to, for example Fleur and Bardette; Somewhat similar in style to the La Reine. Lemon curd, flowers, some flint. This needs a few years in the cellar, but already does not disappoint.
