I could not Disagree more with Pintag below. This grenache is a light expression version of the grenache varietal (totally opposite from a big Paso grenache or Alban or Finger crossed, as comparisons), very aromatic, with a bit of that sweet rasberry grenache. More acid driven and a lighter wine that is very good with food.

Blinded by my sister on this. Very pale and translucent color. Soft, low acid, low tannin, a little sweet. Was thinking lower end Santa Barbara County Pinot, but there was a flavor that I couldn't quite place. Did not particularly enjoy this as it just seemed pretty blah - it really needed a kick of acidity but it just wasn't there.
