  • Behaves like a maturing ch9. Raspberry, kirsch, garrigue and goudron aromas. Midweight body with slightly sharp, spicy and portlike powerful finish. Bit of a disappointment actually.

  • Consistent with previous note, a very nice wine offering an immensely elegant and interesting personality. Highly recommended.

  • A stunner! This wine is simply amazing and drinks perfectly right now. If I ever wrote a book on Grenache this wine would have a page of its own. Nose reveals kirsch, dark mature fruit, sun dried strawberries, boysenberries and sensational intriguing tones of Fortnum & Masons Tayberry preserve. The palate is full and lush just following through the overall impression. Finish lasts some 50 seconds with a truly remarkable end-palate. The taste and feeling of the wine simply does not leave the mouth and nose. However, I have to tell you this wine is not for everyone. If you enjoy Grenache you will love it, if not drink something else. Drink now - it is at its peak or a bit beyond. Highly recommended.
