Excellent young chard. Brimming with energy, tension, some grassy, hay like note that my wife sometimes describes as peanut butter, often found in 2020 Chablis. Lime peel and some stony minerals, with a long finish, this is a pretty fine mid-week chardonnay.

very pale straw colour. generous nose of ripe pear, peaches and mango laced with citrus zest and pith. full and rich in the mouth, a citric streak interplays with the orchard fruit and a subtle mineral vein. very good persistence.
this should need just a bit more time to settle in and has good potential.
13.8% AbV; from young vines planted at exposed high elevations; aged in neutral French and Oregon oak.

Generic garbage. Burnt oak caramel water. Such a let down. Alongside several vintages of Jobard 1er’s and Goodfellow chards this evening, just a waste.
Not flawed, not a bad bottle, just terrible. WTF.

A lot of personality here and some really deep mineral vibes but also disoriented with some harsh edges. Lime cut and a lot of electricity made this really sing with rich food.

Lean and mineral. Flinty white burgundy style. I'm into it!
