A Cab that has an inviting in appearance in the glass, a color is bold, deep dark purple crimson with a floral nose of fresh purple flowers. On the palate, nice dark red and blue fruit, with good extraction. There is blueberry, dark cherry, currant, plum and plum skin. Tannins are present and there is some acidity and a slightly tart aspect to this vintage. I believe this wine should age nicely and does show well with long decanting. This is my first bottle and I had to try it, so there could be variations that may show (bottle shock?) at present? I like this wine and it will no doubt show improvement after settling down, into its own. Given 3 hours plus air there is improvement on the palate. This wine reminds me very much if the last two vintages, wines that benefit from cellaring as opposed to pop and pour wines that marked earlier Becklyn vintages. 92/ 92+ Points for now.
