  • Not sure about the experience of the last taster who admitted he/she doesn’t have any experience with Syrah…. This is a terroir wine - vines that are planted on the edge of the Cornas appellation but given Côtes du Rhône status yet they have the terroir and depth/complexity of a young Cornas; a bit like a Langhe Nebbiolo being a baby Barolo. There is lovely fruit here yet with a minerality and tension which comes from a complex geological soil. Great QPR!!

  • Was recommended this as a "drinking" wine at the local wine shop. I asked for a full bodied and devloped syrah. I didn't see that this was a 2022 ...

On the glass; purple to red.
On the nose; fresh fruits but not much more.
On the taste; I get some fruits, to strawberry? And a hint of licorice at the end. Little to none structure on the tannins.

Cellar potential; don't see how this can develop any further.

Overall I am disappointed. I am however not experienced a syrah drinker.
