  Similar in style to the same vintage Château de Saint Cosme Gigondas...if somewhat lighter. In this way, quite mesmeric. At once racy and gripping. Primarily purple fruits take a back seat to peppercorns, root vegetables, herbs, garrigue, tobacco, smoke, and striking mineral depth.
  
  An evocative offering, which merits, indeed, commands respect! Beware the tannin! A decade+ in the cellar will serve it well. Improvement likely. 93-94.
