  • Grassy with hay and hints of ammonia, this is brisk, acidic and pronounced sauvignon aromatics that almost had me in New Zealand. No perceptible oak but quite characterful and true to variety.

  • PnP. Always reminds me of old-school SB from the Loire, and in that light, if you, too, find the right amount of pyrazines to be a welcome complement, then you're probably going to like this wine, same as me. Medium-bodied, speaks equally of fruit, and place, something I consistently gravitate toward. Living on the sea, with plenty of fresh seafood always available, I'm drinking far more white and rosato than I am red these days, so while I only have six, I will have to take my time with them as I could otherwise open too frequently given their pairing possibilities. Dry, mineral, seaside, etc., with a lovely juxtaposition of crisp (acid), and texture (fruit). Yes, it'd be nice as an aperitivo, but in the 10+ years I've been tasting this wine, it's always begged for food; my palate, anyway. 14,0% abv., now and the next several years. Heartily recommended
