As always ever so pretty and elegant and on the sunniest of London afternoon was in its element in totality. Light, soft and pure like rose should be. Easy 90

Bought Majestic UK approx £14.00 on promo. Chilled. Cork seal.
Shorter, less flavoursome, less personality, less charm than I remember from previous vintages. Disappointing.
N….nice medium intensity crushed new-season red berry fruit; some charm. A good start though, as it transpired, a false one.
C…..pink
T…..near-dry or properly dry on the scale, some white tannins - sorry, Pink tannins - some decent raspberry and cranberry, tart red plum fruit; Short flavours, there’s nothing here, a lot more boring than previous vintages.
I’m off to research Spectator season/vintage reports, this seems a significantly less interesting glass of wine than previous years. Acid maybe too obvious, out of balance, it almost obscured the fruit.
QPR?…..cost around £14.00 yet this 2023 feels worth around half that. Nothing like previous vintages. Won’t be buying any more. I’ll wait for the 2024.

Nice light colour, with flavours of peach.
