A nice find from Trader Joe’s. A great blend from Southern Rhône at a modest price. A nose of berries, earth, smoldering wood. Palate of red raspberries combined with unripe strawberries. Mid-palate of spice, toffee with some brightness. The finish falls flat on its face, and a little dry. Served with a steak dinner, potatoes and salad with bleu cheese dressing. For the price paid, will get more to keep for the casual meal. Delightful wine.

Similar note to bestdamncab this needs a lot of air. Almost unpalatable on night one. Came back to it after leaving a solid week with a stopper in the wine fridge and it's considerably better. Nose is restrained with some red fruit and toffee notes. On the palate with a few days slow ox it shows some complexity and nice depth of fruit, strawberries and currants, dusty tannin still very present on the finish.

Nose of dark fruit, spring flowers and allspice, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, touch simple, opened the second and third nights, score went from 86 to 88 points, fairly fruit forward, good acid, medium finish, nice aftertaste, enjoy the next 3 years, $10 makes for great QPR here.

Fairly light nose featuring hints of red fruit. Palate is very fruit forward with strong dark and red fruit notes- think raspberry and blackberry. Mid palate features a typical Rhone GSM garrigue herbal note. Still a little hot on the back end. Wish there was more of the typical Rhone pepper flavor. Medium tannins, low acidity, and medium finish. A solid crowd pleaser.
