  • Wow, simply outstanding. Started a little unfocused but after 15mn it was simply singing. Incredible finesse and purity. Red fruits, cherry, mineral. Earthy, sous bois. It's just hard to stop drinking. To me, this is what Chambolle is.
This seemed a little advanced for its age though (not that it's falling apart by any means) so based on this bottle, I'd drink it sooner than later.
This bottle put a smile on my face. Love it.

  • Domaine Ponsot 2006 Horizontal (Salone di Gusto, Torino, Italy): Medium(-)-light ruby, curtain--lie legs, slow moving legs. Medium developing aromas of strawberries, red cherries and heato of alcohol. Dry, medium(+)-high acidity, medium(_) tannins, medium body, medium(+) alcohol. Medium flavours of red tart cherries, berries, strawberries, oak notes. Good lenth with fruit-driven finish, loads of acidity. A bit rustic and square in style.

  • gorgeous perfumed nose, the closest i can describe it is as smelling like a teabag
mouth - light to midbodied and drinking very clean. Cranberry on the attack, some light fruit punchy midpalate flavors but in no way candied, fine tannins on the finish. This will be a great food wine, and appeals to some palates more than others. What it lacks in extraction and concentration it makes up for in finesse and elegance
