Deep garnet colour. Nose of leather and dry black fruit. Long, smooth finish with black berry and blueberry, followed by leather. There is some saline and still good tanins. The finish is still long.

14 years old and going strong. Bottle needs a bit of air to fully develop, then red and black fruits - leaning cherry cola, eucalyptus, herbs de Provence and a pepper tinged mineral finish. Good producer, these should go years yet.

(Bosquets Gigondas) #1; COLOR-very dark; NOSE-love the gaminess; litter tar aspect; a little orange peel; a little oily; PALATE-dark chocolate; strawberry pie; rose petals; very chewy; almost like beef jerky; serrano ham; viscous and thick; big and powerful; this is gorgeous wine; find this wine; this is SPECTACULAR $23 bottle of wine and rivals many $35-$50 CdP's; WOW!!; one of the better $23 Rhone wines I've had in a long time; phenomenal effort; great effort; WS-92; GV-93

Hint if chocolate with black and blue fruit. Huge herbal notes. Nice balance with good structure. Lingering fruit. Drink or hold.
