| Tasted by rothdog on 10/30/2007 & rated 77 points: Although slightly better than the '03 Caparone Zinfandel and '03 Caparone Cabernet Sauvignon, this is one musty, mousey, messed up wine. Murky and ruby/brick red, this wine shows little varietal typicity due to faults such as high acidity and high levels of Brettanomyces. Similar notes for the previously mentioned wines. I take no joy in bashing this winery as I am a true wine lover and do not like belittling someone else's work, but you will be better off if you heed my warning and steer clear of this producer.
