| | Tasted by PhDP on 1/28/2010: Plus Côte d'Or que Chablis: construit sur la souplesse et la puissance alcoolique. Peu ou pas de minéralité. Fraîcheur en retrait. C'est savoureux, mais assez simple. (88 views) |

| | Tasted by SimonG on 3/12/2009: Caroline's bash (Windsor): greeny gold colour. Ripe on the nose than expected, this is pretty decent for a village wine. Has filled out a little since tasting at the domaine and is doing nicely. A hint of oyster shell and chalk. **1/2 (398 views) |
| | Tasted by Ali on 11/23/2008 & rated 87 points: enjoyable, but did not have the texture of the higher bottlings (414 views) |
| | Tasted by danstrings on 11/15/2008 & rated 90 points: Clean, fresh but also with some nice nutty honeyed notes you'd find in a higher end Chablis. (401 views) |
| | Tasted by Oh Dae-su on 10/13/2008 & rated 86 points: I had this one together with Viré-Clessé 2006 from Cave de Viré.
This one has a very shiny bright yellow colour. The fragrance is dominated by lemon and freshly pressed lime juice aromas. Its taste and style is very steely. Besides that there are flavours of lemon peel, some grassy notes, very mineral combined with a rather strong acid. I guess it is still too young, but not that much. (581 views) |
| | Tasted by cwheeler on 1/13/2008 & rated 87 points: Pale straw-yellow in colour. A bright nose of honeysuckle, apple, peach and oats. The palate is well weighted with some rich fruit countered with fresh acidity. Nice enough, but in lacking in depth and probably struggles a bit to provide value for money. (957 views) |
| | Tasted by Veloman on 12/19/2007: Not offering much right now, disappointing as against recent vintages of this bottling. (888 views) |

| | Tasted by La Cave d'Argent on 7/28/2007 & rated 89 points: Tasted at home without food. Bright disc. Light-to-medium yellow robe with clear rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense lemon zest, wet stones and flint. Light to medium-bodied on the palate, with medium acidity and a full middle. The flavors mirror the nose. Medium, crisp finish. Quite nice. The middle has indeed filled in since 8/13/06! Accordingly, the wine merits a significantly higher score. (805 views) |
| | Tasted by chateaumiller on 6/4/2007 & rated 79 points: AVERAGE Lighter in acidity than I had anticipated. Would not buy again. The crisp clean taste of Cahblis just wasn't there (1657 views) |
| | Tasted by kstoddard on 5/25/2007 & rated 87 points: Pear, lime, chalk and stones. No oak. Light acidity. Very simple. (1256 views) |
| | Tasted by tanglenet on 5/6/2007: Opened not decanted. Served chilled. Honey, wet grass and green apple on the nose; a nice medium weight on the palate; a smooth with a somewhat sour finish. Easy drinking wine. Good. (1228 views) |

| | Tasted by GolferChris on 12/22/2006 & rated 90 points: Henriot Champagne and Bouchard Wine Dinner (Bistro Kirkou, NW Suburbs Chicago): Intially served too cold and tasted very minerally. Once warmed up nice amounts of white fruits - pear, peach, along with spice and flowers became apparent on the nose. Glycerin, white fruits and apple blossums in the mouth. Nice acidity makes this a great food wine. Pleasant finish. (2963 views) |

| | Tasted by La Cave d'Argent on 8/13/2006 & rated 84 points: This note refers to the "Champs Royaux" bottling, a blend of Chablis vineyards that is said to be aged and handled concurrently with the premier and grand cru bottlings of Fevre. Tasted at home without food. Limpid. Bright disc. Pale yellow robe with clear rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of wet stones, lemon zest and pears. Light-bodied on the palate, with less acidity than I would hope for from a Chablis. The mineral-dominated palate hollows a bit and the finish is rather short and dry. Certainly quite drinkable, but a bit disappointing. It would be educational to see how this wine tastes in 2-3 years. I wouldn't hope for greatness but the middle could potentially fill in and the finish could quite possibly smooth out. (802 views) |
