| Tasted by rjrausch on 1/16/2010 & rated 80 points: In my opinion this is over oaked. Vanilla and citrus on the nose. On the palate I was left with a strong oaky aftertaste without much fruit. For one glass I ran through a vinturi and it gave it a little more palatable flavor with some tropical fruit, but overall I wasn't impressed and disappointed I bought 3 without tasting first. I will struggle to drink these up, so I might try to give them away to some unsuspecting friend who just wants to get drunk. (770 views) | |
