| | Tasted by wino_tim on 6/8/2009 & rated 87 points: Hmm... I must be a member of the pleased masses, as I found this zesty, and insanely complex for the price with nicely layered flavors of melon, citrus, minerals, and celery leaf all accented with classic white pepper notes. Lively, tart, and perhaps a bit short on the palate, this is a great by the glass option and introduction to the varietal. 87+ (772 views) |
| | Tasted by Wine-Strategies on 4/21/2009 & rated 86 points: This is a smart bottling for Huber. The wine is value priced at around $12.99 and packs plenty of fruits, minerals and richness in the glass. A bit fatter than the upper-end bottlings, I would suspect this is nonetheless pleasing for the masses: stony minerality, bright juicy white fruits and decent acidity. S/S tanks only. Drink now.
