  • 2010 Sanguis Chardonnay Loner W10-a Bien Nacido Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley
    Pale yellow color. Tropical fruit nose with a touch of oak. Tastes of apple and lime with some chaulky minerality. Full bodied. Rich caramel finish. 14.3% alcohol. (90 pts.)
  • 1998 M. Chapoutier Ermitage Blanc De L'Orée - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Hermitage
    Heavily oxidized (FLAWED)
  • 2010 Sanguis Postcard from Morocco - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Barbara County
    Cloudy yellow color. Nose of orange blossom and melon. Tastes of apple, melon, lemon, apricot, and peach. Full bodied. Rich floral finish with some nice depth and complexity. 15.7% alcohol. (91 pts.)
  • 2000 Maison Leroy Bourgogne - France, Burgundy, Bourgogne
    Birck red color. Black cherry nose. Black cherry and earth on the palate. Tired finish. This wine has seen better days. 12.5% alcohol.
  • 2007 Tercero Syrah Thompson Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Ynez Valley
    Black in color. Blackberry and cranberry nose. Tastes of blackberry, blueberry, chared oak, and earth. Soft tannins. Earthy finish. 14.3% alcohol. (88 pts.)
  • 1990 Château de Pibarnon Bandol - France, Provence, Bandol
    Dark purple color. Meaty nose of black fruit. Tastes of blackberry, black cherry, anise, and earth. Beautiful balance. Incredible complexity on both the mid palate and long elegant finish. Outstanding. 12.5% alcohol. (95 pts.)
