1982 Château Le Gay Pomerol - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Pomerol
popped and poured. beautiful aromas. a little sharp on the finish. (94 pts.)

1976 Château Montrose - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Estèphe
ex chateau bottle recorked in 2000. amazingly fresh and youthful with pleasant notes of spice and tobacco. a very pleasant surprise. (93 pts.)

1985 Château Haut-Brion - France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan
popped and poured. irresistibly perfumed and floral nose. perhaps more lightweight than other big vintages, but a joy to drink now. (96 pts.)
