Densely packed with exotic fruits, tangerine, apple, and herbs. Concentration and some sweetness, with refreshing acidity keeping it from unctousness. Will probably not improve with further cellaring, but should keep well for 5 more years. (131 views)

Pale yellow. Grüner nose of metallic herbs and ever so slight rubbery forest. Brings associations to mediocre Sauvignon Blanc, perhaps not much of a surprise there. Taste follows nose, with some young grapes, dragonfruit, underripe peach and a pinch of lime. Generic mouthfeel with a nice acidic touch on the entry, and a tiny bit of flint/smoke in the back. All in all an ok but fairly generic wine, nothing to be annoyed about but little to to be exited about either. Unlikely to repurchase. (156 views)

Now that is the nose of Gruner I like - spicy but not diesel, and then arugala, but also conveying a sense of richness. Mineral in the mid palate, long. Deeply complex but lifted. (319 views)
