Another great QPR from Baumard, but noticably less of everything than the Savannieres - for about 60% of the cost. Scewtop is great for this light bodied, soft, but nicely balanced white. Subtle, not overdone at all. Great light drink for a spring evening. (2206 views) | ||||

Solid Loire Chenin Blanc...I am not overly experienced with Loire wines but my feeling is food pairing is extremely important to enjoying Loire wihites. Tonight paired with a simple chicken stir fry with olives, red bell peppers and tons of flavors...worked great the acid backbone to the wine really shined with the meal. A simple wine paired with a simple meal really worked. Not bad for $10 wine! (2322 views) | ||||
