PnP. No detailed notes. Very smooth. Medium body. Mellow, full, complex flavor. In a great place. Love mature Zins. (224 views)

2012 Dashe Cellars Ancient Vines Bedrock Vineyard (USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley) 7/10/2016Martin Redmond91

This wine is singing right now. It's perfumed with floral, berry, spice, and kiss of roast coffee aromas. On the palate it's fresh with a velvety texture and well integrated tannins and blackberry compote, black cherry, a bit of blueberry and spice flavors with a long finish. (879 views)

I found this to be an interesting wine. Didn't realize at purchase that the wine was only 40% Zin. The Carignane and mourvedre added some interesting elements. Liked the wine, not sure if I would run back to it. Tend to prefer the Bedrock wines from the same vineyard. (1244 views)

2012 Dashe Cellars Ancient Vines Bedrock Vineyard (USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Valley) 8/23/2014Silveradoup

I completely disagree with the previous review. 14.1% alcohol and this is definitely on the spicier side and not the fruity side. This has less alcohol that the actual Bedrock wine co version and you can tell. It has less fruit and more spice/orange peel/floral aromatics. This was a great buy, do not hesitate to buy if you love this vineyard. (1629 views)

I really was hoping for more, but I really wish they would have picked way earlier. The wine is over ripe and over handled. I just don't understand why people think old vine wine has to be picked at the level of such over ripeness.. (1383 views)
