Delightful and still very integrated despite age. Garnet hue with little edge seperation. Nose is a bit pinched, showing a bit of spice and plum. Very well structured on first taste, with noticeable yet pleasant acidity, and a bit of tannins for back end structure. Overall, very enjoyable and bright, and an excellent complement to any traditional Italian dish. (2675 views) | ||||

Excellent and pure, a great expression of this grape and region. Showing age around the edges with some orange/brown hues but the color is very concentrated and dark with integration of smoke, oak, earth, light plums and spices from start to finish. Still a good deal of structure at 10 years old. (2264 views) | ||||
