Always a well-balanced and relatively restrained wine (versus some of its blockbuster 1994 Napa peers), this has aged quite well. Very harmonious, with a fairly classic, middle-aged California Cabernet profile. Cedar, cassis, spicebox, ripe plum. The fruit doesn't appear to be in danger of disappearing anytime soon. Nice mouthfeel, medium-length finish. (2656 views) | ||||
