Had this exactly 1 year ago and recall it was a bit tight then. Today it was brilliant. I sometimes find Chassange a bit too big and crunchy for my palate but this had that wonderful "aerodynamic" profile I like. The reduction was there but not ideological. Kind of like Raveneau meets Chassange. Would not have put this as an 2018 either if served blind. Intellectual and drinkable at the same time. Those who prefer overt power may not enjoy this.

I've only had a few bottles from this Domaine so far which were all very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the prices are silly now. (179 views)

I usually find Winston Churchill a bit too big for my taste. For the 1996, however, the style works well with the racy acidity of the vintage. (263 views)

Traditional style - not much trendy reduction here. Big with broad shoulders. The fruit is quite dominant now but you can taste the subtle mineral core underneath. I typically prefer more sharpness but that's a style issue. Decent 1er cru level white with upside potential. First time with this wine will try more to get a proper sense. (61 views)

Lovely perfume aromatics and flavor profile. The depth and finish reflect the level/classification. Good intro to the very impressive "new" style of the domain. (881 views)

My first time with this producer. Citrus and pineapple on the nose. Low acidity for Sauv Blanc and came across as a bit New World. Could use a bit more tension in my book.

Overall a bit underwhelming considering it was highly recommended to me. Not sure if this was a representative bottle. (135 views)

The bottle had low fill and the top of the cork was oxidized. I was prepared for the worst but it proved me wrong. It needed a lot of air to unfurl. It's not the best bottle I've had from this batch but it was still fine.

I've had over a case of this wine over the years and it always delivered. Sadly I am down to my last bottle! (297 views)
