Tasted by beezer6 on 4/17/2020 & rated 90 points: Limited notes.
Roasted honey covered apples and some richer spice. The few years under its belt is showing in a nice way adding some complexity on the finish. Nice. (911 views)
Tasted by Sugarb on 10/11/2017 & rated 91 points: Best bottle yet, drank very nicely. Nice combo of fresh fruit with enough dry acidity to make it interesting. (1355 views)
Tasted by Mtpisgah on 6/16/2017: Opened it straight from the fridge and it was a bit too cold, it warmed nicely during dinner and the flavors started coming out more. A nice summer wine, reminds me of honeysuckle. (1419 views)
Tasted by Senso-beak on 6/2/2017 & rated 87 points: Opened and poured. Much sweeter than previous renditions, which is quite nice and what I'm looking for. Honeyed elements on a steely frame. However, the wine is weighed down by too much ABV and heavy cloying phenols. Lacking acidity to keep it vibrant and balanced. Would love to see Mike dial this back while keeping, or increasing the sweetness, and delivering this at 11-12% ABV....then he'd really have something. Overall a good wine. (1415 views)
Tasted by Ridgerunner on 3/9/2017 & rated 92 points: Amazing that these whites register such depth with subtlety! (1572 views)
Tasted by ucbeau on 9/2/2016 & rated 91 points: Served with a chill. Notes of citrus, barrel, quince, and spices. Rich, round mouthfeel with good acidity on the finish. A touch of heat on the palate, which comes across as sweetness. Lengthy finish, with lemon curd and candied orange peel. Very enjoyable. (1598 views)
Tasted by dcwino on 7/6/2016 & rated 91 points: Restrained nose displaying a hint of kiwi and grapefruit, honey and wet stone. Quite dense and creamy palate, bright acidity, good mineral presence and medium finish. Though quite ripe, strong presence of acidity give good freshness. The overall expression is not terribly complex. Good summer wine. (1513 views)
Tasted by BigTex22 on 5/6/2016 & rated 88 points: Drank a bit chilled. Nice white with good fruit up front, but with a light finish. Great summer wine. (1257 views)
Tasted by Acohen on 3/6/2016 & rated 89 points: Creamy mouthfeel with light lemon, peach and some pear. Medium finish and nice with the fish tacos (1349 views)
Tasted by swade on 11/18/2015 & rated 93 points: White gold color. Effusive aromas of grapefruit and honeydew melon. Silky entry. Starts with a creamy lemon drop note and then the mid-palate gushes pineapple juice. This finishes with intertwined tendrils of jasmine and freshly grated ginger. The wine lingers intensely. This finishes with a succulent interplay of lively acid and sweetness. I don't even generally drink white wine, but I couldn't put this down. The purity of the flavors are just Willy Wonka vivid. Superb. I may not be scoring this high enough. 93 (1545 views)
Tasted by Sugarb on 8/14/2015 & rated 92 points: Really nice right now. Excellent fruit balance and purity sows through. (1352 views)
Tasted by hoservin on 8/7/2015 & rated 92 points: Aromas of honeydew melon, white peach and star fruit. Palate echoes the nose leading to a soft, dry, mineral-driven finish. Good acidic balance. Drinking very well. Paired with grilled spinach ricotta pizza. (1208 views)
Tasted by Ridgerunner on 7/9/2015 & rated 91 points: Just a cut above what I am used to expecting from semillon (1335 views)
Tasted by rcmccall on 6/7/2015 & rated 92 points: Delivers the goods again. (1384 views)
Tasted by budman on 5/7/2015 & rated 91 points: Went WAY down too easy!!! (1324 views)
Tasted by rcmccall on 2/19/2015 & rated 92 points: 2013 - Citrus, melon, stone fruit. Crisp and refreshing. Downright delectable. (1489 views)
Tasted by jfpwine on 2/9/2015 & rated 91 points: Citrus and Melon nose. Full body, some oak but not overwhelming. Medium- acidity. Long finish. Very good. (1410 views)
Tasted by TastesGoodToMe on 2/3/2015 & rated 89 points: Very nice. Clean, crisp and bright (1608 views)
Tasted by EMTAME on 1/26/2015 & rated 91 points: A touch rounder and a half-snippet fuller, to my palate, than the Tofanelli. Simply delicious. I'm looking forward to the release of the '14 tomorrow. (1447 views)
Tasted by DavidDay on 12/24/2014 & rated 90 points: Melon, pineapple, lemon zest, toasted almonds in the nose, citrus flavors on the palate, cleaned balanced (1414 views)
Tasted by ageverett on 11/27/2014 & rated 93 points: Very consistent with prior notes. Enjoyed while preparing Thanksgiving dinner, and drank alongside the new Becklyn sav blanc that Mike Smith makes from the same vineyard. Both are full-bodied, and this is not quite as crisp as the Becklyn. Still a very enjoyable wine. (1594 views)
 Tasted by J @ y H @ c k on 11/27/2014 & rated 88 points: Light but interesting. Worth the tarriff for a change of pace. (1447 views)
Tasted by oceanspirit on 8/31/2014 & rated 90 points: Served from the refrigerator with seafood. Very pleasant wine, crisp, refreshing. Took on more flavor as it warmed, soft butter tones. Very good. (1552 views)
Tasted by slywka7 on 8/15/2014 & rated 92 points: Private Dinner at Craft Butchery (Craft Butchery in Westport, CT): A perfect Summer wine! This was served at the perfect temperature to display it vibrant wavy acidity. Had some grassy notes along with citrus, smoke, peach and what I suspect a neutral oak influence. Drank this before the cheese coarse but it was very nice on it's own. (2132 views)
Tasted by oceanspirit on 8/8/2014 & rated 89 points: Served this bottle from the refrigerator with chicken for dinner. Excellent bottle, very clean finish with the first sip, refreshing more than tasteful. A couple of more sips and the character emerged with soft fruit flavor. (1480 views)

Producer website

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
